Meet another member of the team behind the scenes here at Belvedere Designs who make the magic happen.  In her own words, meet....

Why? Self-explanatory. [Maelah is little in stature, but fierce in spirit]

How long have you been with the team?  Since early summer 2012 [when she migrated back to the mainland from Hawaii]

What are you in charge of at Belvedere Designs? Production

What's your favorite thing about working here?  Talking nerdy with the team. [Maelah often cues up literary podcasts which inevitably spark heated discussion among the production team - we can almost guarantee that each new Wall Quotes™ decal is created in a stimulating environment]

What do you do when you're not making crazy awesome Wall Quotes™ decals at Belvedere Designs? Read, write, paint, draw, play volleyball, and learn Korean. [Maelah has a BFA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in sculpture and ceramics from BYU Hawaii - the source of her love for all things Hawaii and is planning to teach English in Korea next year]Maelah's the fastest weeder we have; no one can keep up.  (Weeding is one step to the production process).  She's a pro and she gets stuff done.  And she keeps us informed on the nuances of the Harry Potter phenomenon and young adult fiction's impact on the world of literacy at large.  She's a gem and gosh, we're glad to have her.
